You see, for over 20 years I ran my own very successful residential services operation. Then I sold it and semi-retired. And now for the last 20 years plus I’ve helped transform thousands of other companies working (and yes- fighting!) out there on what I call “The Home Front”! (Because it really and truly is a war out there!)

True confessions time: Most of my last 20 years or so I’ve focused on the residential cleaning and restoration industry. But once again- it doesn’t matter WHAT you do as much as WHERE you do it and WHO you provide your service to! In other words, you must face up to the fact that 80% of how your client decides if you (or most likely your tech) is doing a good job or a bad job is based on how the FEEL about the person doing the work! So my research applies to anyone working on the “Home Front”!
But hey- let’s talk about YOU! And the daily struggles you face in business! As my business mentor told me over 40 years ago, “Steve, you are in the residential services industry which means your company will be all about one huge challenge- PEOPLE! You see, Steve, you will be selling your employees (people) to your customers who will be… (wait for it) people!”
